We regularly put our students in for RAD Graded and Vocational exams. Each exams session at Downland Dance is an exciting time, which our students of all ages look forward to (including adults)!
Exams are not the reason to dance, but they are a fantastic way to track your improvement, and they give our students a wonderful sense of achievement. Preparing for exams helps simulate the experience of training for a performance or audition, and holding frequent exams sessions helps our students learn how to deal with the associated pressure.
We’re proud of our exam results. Thanks to our teachers our students are well prepared for their exams and our results show this. Downland Dance boasts a 100% pass rate at exam time, with the vast majority of our students being awarded Merit or above. See below for a summary of our recent exam results.
