Timetable

We will send all dancers a timetable to let them know which rehearsals we’d like them to attend after all participation forms have been collected and we have been able to create a cast. The timetable below gives an idea of when we expect to hold rehearsals for group dances, according to each dancer’s age range/enrolled classes. Please note that there may be slight differences in times listed for the first and second half terms.

Dancers with soloist roles will likely be asked to attend more rehearsals than those listed below.

Key Dates (All Dancers)

Full Cast Rehearsals (22nd, 23rd & 24th July):

• 5.00pm – 6.00pm (dancers from Overture, Pre Primary, Primary, Grade 1, Silver Swans, Achievers Club, and Soloists)
• 6.00pm – 8.00pm (Grades 2-4, Junior Risers, Achievers Club, and Soloists)
• 6.30pm – 8.00pm (Grades 5 – Adults).

General Rehearsal (25th July):

Dancers Arrival: 11.30am
Rehearsal: 12.30pm – 3.30pm (Begins with Group Photo*)
(Some dancers may leave after First Act – approx. 1.30pm)

*The photographer will be available for individual and small group photos on stage between the General Rehearsal and Performance for those dancers who would like one.

Performance (25th July):

Dancers Arrival: 5.00pm
Doors Open (Audience): 5.30pm
Performance Start Time: 6.00pm
(Some dancers may leave after First Act – approx. 7.00pm)

Performance (26th July):

Dancers Arrival: 1.30pm
Stage rehearsal (as necessary): 2.00pm
Doors Open (Audience): 2.30pm
Performance Start Time: 3.00pm
(Some dancers may leave after First Act – approx. 4.00pm)
