Rambert Grades G1- Abingdon

Rambert Grades are the contemporary syllabi developed by Rambert and Rambert School. Grade 1 exercises incorporate some of the foundational movements in contemporary dance and the material is very suitable for adults as well as younger students (in contrast to the RAD lower grades which can be too child-like for adults). There are opportunities to take filmed exams and the exam process is designed to be celebratory. Helen Lloyd, our Rambert Grades qualified teacher, says: “I love the Rambert ethos which celebrates the abilities of every “body” and is accessible to all”.
