RAD Grade 1 Ballet – Abingdon

Our skilled RAD qualified teachers offer classes in the full spectrum of RAD grades. New students are placed into the appropriate grade following an assessment in a free trial class. Grade 1 students will usually have passed their Primary RAD exam or equivalent.

RAD Grade 8 Ballet – Abingdon

Our skilled RAD qualified teachers offer classes in the full spectrum of RAD grades. New students are placed into the appropriate grade following an assessment in a free trial class. This is the last level of the RAD Grades, and students who reach Grade 8 are amongst our most dedicated students, who will usually be attending multiple classes per week as well as preparing for vocational graded exams. We strongly advise that students of this grade attend at least two classes per week to assure good progression.

RAD Grade 7 Ballet – Abingdon

Our skilled RAD qualified teachers offer classes in the full spectrum of RAD grades. New students are placed into the appropriate grade following an assessment in a free trial class. This class is intended for students who have recently passed their RAD grade 6 exam (or equivalent) and are new to grade 7. Students who reach Grade 7 level are among our most dedicated students, and will usually be attending multiple classes per week as well as preparing for vocational graded exams. We strongly advise that students of this grade attend at least two classes per week to assure good progression.

RAD Advanced 2 Ballet – Abingdon

Our skilled RAD qualified teachers offer classes in the full spectrum of RAD grades. Advanced 2 is the final vocational graded exam in the RAD syllabus, and students will need to have passed their Advanced 1 exam to be entered. This class is suitable for advanced adult students, vocational dance students, and professional or pre professional dancers.

RAD Intermediate Ballet – Abingdon

Our skilled RAD qualified teachers offer classes in the full spectrum of RAD grades. The second level of the vocational RAD exams, the Intermediate class is for students who have successfully passed their Intermediate Foundation exam, or for adult students who are looking to further advance their technique, and recognise their improvement with exam work.

Our skilled RAD qualified teachers offer classes in the full spectrum of RAD grades. The first level of the vocational RAD exams, the Intermediate Foundation class is for keen students who are progressing quickly in their dance classes and wish to take their practice to the next level.

A class focussing on establishing and improving pointe work. Suitable for all students who have progressed on to pointe in their graded classes. Ideal for those taking the earlier Senior Mixed Ability Open Class.

Adult Intermediate/Advanced Ballet – Abingdon

Our open (non syllabus) ballet classes provide the ideal setting for teachers to tailor each exercise to meet the individual needs of every class. With a variety of different open classes available, our teachers are skilled at adapting classes based on the students who attend on any given day, and so we believe that we can offer the class to help any dancer make fast and consistent progress.

This class is perfect for those who have already grasped the basics of ballet and are ready to take it to the next level. It also offers its students the opportunity to keep the Monday blues at bay with an exciting and energetic ballet class to look forward to!

Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is a certified training system to help improve strength, flexibility and core stability, all in a way which compliment and help vastly improve your ballet practice. Using equipment such as swiss balls, therabands and yoga balls, PBT students undertake exercises that safely develop their depth of training, body conditioning and developing muscle memory.
