Discovering Repertoire – Abingdon

Discovering Repertoire is a syllabus based class from the RAD with a nice barre and centre, and then moving onto development exercises leading to a version of the the Coppelia Spanish Doll variation, and later onto a dance from Giselle. The standard is set at around the Grade 5, Intermediate Foundation level. The development exercises and variation can all, optionally, be done en pointe, so the class is also suitable for those who are looking for classes to improve their pointework whilst having fun!

Senior Mixed Ability Ballet – Abingdon

Our open mixed ability classes provide the ideal setting for teachers to tailor every exercise to meet the individual needs of every class. With such a variety of different open classes available, our teachers are skilled at adapting classes based on the students who attend on any given day, and so we believe our Mixed Ability Open Classes can help any dancer make fast and consistent progress. This particular class (running on Wednesday mornings) usually runs at a slightly more easy going pace than the others, which coupled with it’s weekday morning start time and easy going atmosphere, makes it a popular choice for adults who are new to ballet, as well as more mature students who enjoy it as a way to keep fit.
